A large open-plan space and entry hall floored in polished marble, including a bordered inlaid medallion at the entrance and a recessed ceiling with perimeter lighting.
Marble on this scale is a leveling job first. The slab was flattened before a single tile went down so the polished surface reads as one plane under the ceiling lights. The medallion at the entry was cut off-site and set into a border, then the whole floor was polished and sealed.
